Publication Scheme

In line with section 20 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, NHS Southampton City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has a legal duty to adopt and maintain a publication scheme for the publication of information relating to it. The purpose of the Act is to promote greater openness by public authorities.

Classes of information

The publication scheme is divided into six classes of information and follows the current model approved by the Information Commissioner. It is important that the scheme meets our service user needs and we have designed it to be a route map to find information about the CCG. This publication scheme will be reviewed regularly.

Class 1: Who we are and what we do

Class 2:What we spend and how we spend it

Class 3: What are our priorities and how are we doing

Class 4: How we make decisions

Class 5: Our policies and procedures

Class 6: List and registers

If, after reading these pages, you are not able to find the information you are looking for please look at our Disclosure Log or contact us via our Freedom of Information Team and we will do our best to provide the information you need. Please include your full name and an address for correspondence (an email address is sufficient). If you can be as specific as possible in your request this helps us to identify appropriate information to assist your enquiry.

Cost of information

In this Publication Scheme, all the electronic information which is downloadable from our website is provided free of charge for personal use.

Where information is only available in hard copy there may be a charge for the cost of copying and postage, dependent on volume. Any costs and charges that will have to be paid in advance will be advised to the applicant.
