Leading local and national organisations supporting adults with learning disabilities will be showcasing at a Learning Disability Open Day drop-in event on Saturday 2 November 10am - 3pm at Oasis Academy School Lordshill.

The free event aims to bring together adults with learning disabilities, as well as their carers, paid or unpaid, to find out more about what local support is available.

Representatives will be on-hand from more than 25 different local adult health and care providers such as Shared Lives, Autism Hampshire, Dimensions, City Telecare, Life Skills (including employment support), Kentish Road Respite Centre and a range of Learning Disability Day Services. Exhibitors will be able to provide information about a range of topics, including, how to access a Learning Disability annual health check, local housing options, accessible activities and much more. Find out more about the event on the Southampton City Council website.
